VAN GOGH VODKAS INTRODUCES ESPRESSO VODKA

VAN GOGH VODKAS INTRODUCES
FIRST-EVER ESPRESSO VODKA
HOT ESPRESSO (AFTER DINNER) COFFEE DRINKS MOVE ON OVER.
HERE COME VAN GOGH ESPRESSO VODKA MARTINIS!
RENO, NV. (May 9, 2005)- Van Gogh Vodkas continues to expand its flavored vodka category with the introduction of the new Van Gogh Espresso Vodka. (70 Proof, 35% alc/vol). The only espresso vodka “to hit” store shelves throughout the nation will become available to consumers on June 1.
Coffee lovers and vodka connoisseurs alike will be “wowed” by this flavor. The bold true taste of espresso in Van Gogh’s Espresso Vodka will give coffee a new meaning. When in the past, restaurant and bar goers would order hot espresso coffee drinks with their dessert, now they can order espresso martinis for dessert or, of course, with their dessert too. Some of the newest martinis are a Mocha Buzz, Espressotini, Cappuccino Delight, Latte Especial, Double Shot Dutch Mocha and Vanilla Espresso Blend. The options are plenty (see martini list below). As you can clearly see, the hype about specialty coffees has now extended into the super-premium vodka market.
“Distributor orders for espresso vodka are beyond our expectations,” says David van de Velde, President of Luctor International, importers of Van Gogh Vodkas. “Since our vodkas are hand-crafted and the bottles are intricately designed and silk-screened, we’re working day and night with our master distiller and bottling company to fill these orders.”
On Monday of this week, Van Gogh experienced a “panic” situation in which the espresso bottles had to be in Holland by noon on Wednesday for the container of bottles to make the ship on Thursday. No trucks were available, so three pick up trucks were rented and driven in caravan from Paris to Rotterdam just in time to bottle the espresso vodka and deliver it to the ship. Bottles were etched in Paris, France. Tuesday they were silk screened, and Wednesday at 8am three pick up trucks drove pallets to Rotterdam (from France through Belgium into Holland).
“We’ll do whatever it takes to meet the demands of our distributors and consumers, especially since we know this flavor is guaranteed to be another winner,” says van de Velde.
Van Gogh’s Master Distiller, Tim Vos, perfected this espresso flavor after working with various measurements and freshly roasted coffee beans. The few select people (distributors and media) who have already tasted this new vodka at our annual wholesalers conference in Orlando during the month of April rave about it saying, “It tastes just like espresso and smells like freshly roasted coffee beans at the finest roasting house.”
Like all other Van Gogh Vodkas, the multiple distillation process creates a vodka with refinement, smoothness and character as only found in handmade, small batch spirits. With the addition of Van Gogh’s 11th flavored Vodka, Espresso, Van Gogh Vodkas offers more than 9,000 martini combinations for individuals to make a customized and personal martini.
“Adding the flavor of Espresso to our family of super-premium flavored vodkas offers people, yet another, martini option,” says van de Velde. “The Espresso Vodka fills the coffee demand that is becoming more popular every year.”
